The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production.
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 was introduced at the beginning of the 1990’s in order to test and certify textiles and textile products using practical assessment. The Oeko-Tex label is designed to easily demonstrate which products are harmless to health.
The laboratory tests comprise around 100 test parameters and take into account all possible ways by which harmful substrates could be absorbed into the human body (orally, via the skin or by inhalation).
By using garment personalisation products which carry Oeko-Tex approval you can choose a film to suit your requirements.
The following list explains which Oeko-Tex standard is suitable for which types of garments;
Product class 1 suitable for use on babies clothing.
Product class 2 suitable for use on clothing with direct contact with skin.
Product class 3 suitable for items with no direct contact with skin.
Product class 4 suitable for decoration materials.
